COLOMBO (Newsfirst) – The debate on the reports of the Bond Commission and Presidential Commission of Inquiry into Serious Acts of Fraud and Corruption, has begun.
The parliamentary debate on the reports of the Bond Commission and Presidential Commission of Inquiry into Serious Acts of Fraud and Corruption will be held today, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Following the debate, the topic will be taken up for debate once again on February 21 and 22.
A media release issued yesterday by the media unit of the Speaker noted that the 7,000 page reports of the Commission of Inquiry into Serious Acts of Fraud and Corruption, will be handed over to Members of Parliament through CDs.
The Speaker has also requested all parties to act with decorum during today’s debate as a great deal of attention will be paid towards it.
