Issuing a communique, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, the delegation, which is on an official visit to South Asia, is visiting Sri Lanka following the conclusion of its visit to Maldives.
The Ministry noted that the delegation will remain in the country until November 3.
During the visit, the delegation is set to look into Sri Lanka’s progress on national reconciliation and its implementation of the international conventions applicable to GSP+.
According to the Ministry, the delegation will also visit several areas in the Northern Province and is also scheduled to hold discussions with Speaker Karu Jayasuriya on November 2.
