The island-nation of Singapore has the world’s most “powerful” passport, allowing citizens to visit 159 countries visa-free, according to the Passport Index. It’s the first time an Asian country has topped the list, historically dominated by European states.

Germany came in second place, with its citizens able to visit 158 countries without a visa, while Sweden and South Korea tied for third.

Sri Lanka was placed eighty-ninth with visa-free access to 36 countries.

Afghanistan came bottom of the list, with visa-free access to just 22 countries.
