Cristiano Ronaldo was named the world’s best male player at the 2017 Best FIFA Football Awards in London.
Ronaldo beat Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Paris St-Germain’s Neymar to the honour.
The Real Madrid forward received 43.16% of the total votes.
The award, which covers the period of Nov. 20, 2016, to July 2, 2017, is voted for by national team coaches, captains and selected media, who each listed a first, second and third-place choice on their ballots.
