The Good Market is a wonderful, successful concept which connects the farmers directly with customers in Colombo and as of late, Kandy.

Officials of Good Market has created an opportunity for the city dwellers to enjoy local delicacies not commonly found in Colombo.

News 1st’s ‘Gammadda’ is a public service movement which aims to develop Sri Lanka’s rural community and support them for a better future.

These two entities began collaborating with each other earlier in 2017.

We have set up a ‘Gammadda’ stall at the Good Market in Race Cource, Colombo -which recieves positive feedback every Saturday from the urban folk, all day around.

The aim of our stall is to educate the urban community on projects undertaken by Gammadda.

Today however, was special for the Gammadda stall in Good Market.
