Suicide attackers hit a paramilitary camp in Srinagar in Indian-administered Kashmir, officials said.
Terrorists attacked the camp in the wee hours of Tuesday. Two terrorists have been killed in the ongoing gunfight while one Border Security Force (BSF) soldier was killed and two others were injured.
Reports claim that one militant is still holed up inside and that search operations are underway.
The camp is located just outside the international airport in Srinagar – a heavily fortified area.
Flight operations, which were suspended on Tuesday morning, have resumed. Roads leading to the airport, which were sealed off earlier, have also reopened.
Eyewitnesses said there were at least three armed attackers.
Militants have in recent months targeted police camps in Kashmir. In August, at least eight Indian police officials were killed when militants attacked a security camp in southern Kashmir.
