Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Travis Sinniah says he will put a halt to drug smuggling conducted via sea, within a year.

He made this statement while speaking to a journalist after obtaining blessings from Chief Prelates of the Asgiri Chapter on Friday morning.

Vice Admiral Travis Sinniah also paid homage at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Thereafter, the Navy Commander met with Diyawadana Nilame, Pradeep Nilanga Daela.
