Shameer Rasooldeen, General Manager of Jones Tea, previous Director of English News has been accepted to the 2017 Class of Asia 21 Young Leaders initiative.
Asia 21 aims to build a network of young leaders across the Asia Pacific as a way to promote mutual understanding and effective collaboration among the next generation’s most important and influential leaders.
Shameer Rasooldeen is now part of a global movement which is active in more than thirty nations. Asia 21 recognises individuals who are leading figures in media, politics, business and the non profit sector.
The Asia 21 Young Leaders Summit for the year 2017 will take place in Melbourne from November 29 to December 01.
The Summit will draw upon combined expertise and leadership of the 2017 Class, Alumni and global and Australian experts to generate creative, multidisciplinary approaches to problem-solving and develop communities of leaders to drive positive change.
In 2012, Chevaan Daniel, Group Director at The Capital Maharaja Organisation was selected by the Asia Foundation to its Asia 21 list of young leaders.
