A 39-year-old individual has been hacked to death with the use of sharp weapon in Mankada, Kadawatha.Police said the victim had been killed on Thursday night following a personal altercation.

The assailant, who suffered injuries in the incident, is currently receiving treatment at the Ragama Hospital under police protection.
