Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe who is touring Japan, met with the President of Sri Lanka – Japan Parliament Friendship Association.
President of Sri Lanka – Japan Parliament Friendship Association Wataru Takeshita assured the Premier that Japan would commit to support the development drive of Sri Lanka.
He pointed out that Japan and Sri Lanka will look to further boost the bilateral relationship.
Meanwhile, the Premier stated that as the Sri Lankan Parliament celebrates 70 years, these talks are of paramount importance.
Meanwhile, the Premier and the delegation attended a business forum conducted by the Japan External Trade Organisation.
The Premier spoke on Sri Lanka’s point of view of the global community and the importance of Japan.
