Journalist Keith Noyahr was assaulted on May 22, 2008. On Monday, March 20, another suspect was arrested by CID in connection to the assault.

According to Police Headquarters, the arrested is a 35-year-old army intelligence officer residing in Minuwangoda.

The arrested officer joins a number of other Army Intelligence officers who were previously arrested in connection to the assault. The suspects are currently in remand custody.
