President Maithripala Sirisena has left for Indonesia to attend the leader’s summit of the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA).
The summit under the theme of Strengthening Maritime Cooperation for a Peaceful, Stable and Prosperous Indian Ocean is scheduled to commence in Jakarta, tomorrow, where the Head of State is scheduled to address the summit in the evening
During his visit, the president will also sign two bi-lateral agreements with Indonesia on fisheries and small and medium enterprises.
The official meeting between the Sri Lankan and Indonesian Presidents will take place at the Merdeka Palace on March 8.
