News1st’s Safe Roads campaign continues in Nuwara-Eliya

The fifth in a series of road safety workshops organised by News1st to raise awareness among the public in the face of the growing number of road accidents, was held in Nuwara Eliya on Sunday

The Safe Roads campaign is supported by the Sri Lanka Police.

Today’s workshop was held at the premises of the Sri Senanandarama Viharaya in Magasthota, Nuwara Eliya.Representatives of the Sri Lanka Police and the Department of Motor Vehicles were participated in the workshop.

pplThe workshop was well-attended, with the participation of the Nuwara Eliya District Drivers Association and representatives of driving schools in the area. The workshop was held with the guidance of the Chief Incumbent of the Sri Senanandarama Viharaya, Venerable Kalugahakandure Vijitha Thera.
