A report by the Auditor General has been requested with regard to a purported oil hedging deal at the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.
Chairman of COPE Sunil Handunnetti said he recommends that the report be compiled using all complaints filed in this regard.
When News 1st contacted the Auditor General Gamini Wijesinghe regarding the issue, he noted that all activities with regard to compiling the audit report on the purported oil hedging deal will commence on January 26.
