LG unveiled its new flagship 4K OLED TV.

For decades, manufacturers have sold thinness as a positive metric for measuring the advance of a product. Now LG has jumped on the bandwagon with a frankly beautiful OLED television.

The TV is ridiculously thin at 2.57mm, yet the company claims this causes no issues with picture quality.

This is the new LG Signature 4K OLED W series. The W stands for wallpaper and refers to the TV’s new “picture-on-wall” design. It’s a two-part system: the main display up top, and a Dolby Atmos soundbar below it. That soundbar also houses the TV’s primary guts, HDMI inputs, and so on.

The product comes in two different models as, the 65-inch model and the ‘W’ model which comes in a 77-inch size.

It is also said to be fairly light in weight as well.

However, the TV plugs in via a proprietary cable to the soundbar underneath, therefore the TV cannot be put on a stand on some table. The only honorable option is to mount it to the wall.
