President Maithripala Sirisena, who is on an official visit to Malaysia, will hold discussions with Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak later today.
Several bilateral agreements which will positively impact both the countries, will be signed during this discussion.
President Sirisena met with business leaders and investors of both countries while participating in a trade convention held last evening.
Speaking at the Convention he pointed out that the next three years have been named as the the years of development in Sri Lanka.
The President also invited Malaysian investors to confidently invest in Sri Lanka.
A food exhibition and a cultural ceremony was held in the Capital City, symbolising the 60 year long billateral ties between Malaysia, and Sri Lanka.
President Maithripala Sirisena was the chief guest of the event.
The food exhibition which is being held to mark the progress made in the culnary sector of the two countries, also featured a GROUp of star class Sri Lankan chefs inlcuding Chef Publis Silva.
