The Satyagraha Campaign launched by a group of employees of the Hambantota Port is continuing and enters its second day today.

The campaign was launched on Thursday, December 8, with the employees of the Hambantota Port demanding that their services are attached to the Sri Lanka Ports Authority.

Vice Chairman of the Magampura Port Workers Committee I. K. Omesh said, the authorities have failed to take steps to secure the employment of 483 employees of his committee.
