North Korea has opened its first space symposium on space science and technology on Tuesday (November 22) in Pyongyang.
Visuals filmed by North Korea’s state news agency KCNA, showed N.Korean officials scientists and technicians attending “The Symposium on Space Science and Technology 2016” at the Sci-Tech Complex.
“More than 200 research papers were submitted as part of this is the first symposium. Especially since we successfully launched observation satellites and application satellites, our country’s scientists and technicians have showed higher interest in this part,” said Chairman of the Korea Space Association and Vice President of Kim Chaek University of Technology, Ri Won Chol.
KCNA said noted that The symposium will be continued until Thursday (November 24)
