MP Dinesh Gunwardena raised the question on measures that are taken on the alleged assault reportedly made on war veterans during a demonstration.

UPFA MP, Dinesh Gunawardena charged that until today, no one accountable has been taken before the law or interdicted,  or even questioned on this matter

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe replied that the discussion now is to ascertain as to how this incident took place even after the Ministry of Defence had agreed to meet all the demands.
