Queen awards OBE to tennis star Jamie Murray

Jamie Murray has been awarded an OBE (order of the British empire) by the Queen for his services for the sport as well as charity.

The current world number four doubles player, has both the US and Australian Open titles with his Brazilian tennis partner Bruno Soares.

Murray’s Younger brother and current Wimbledon men’s singles champion, was awarded the OBE in 2013.

“It’s amazing to be honoured like this for some of the achievements I’ve been able to do in my tennis career.” said the Tennis star
