Leader of the Janasetha Peramuna, Ven. Battaramulle Seelarathana Thero expressed views on the activities of the Joint Opposition.

The thero noted that no one will come forward under the leadership of Basil Rajapaksa, adding that “he is someone who abandoned his brother, so it is not difficult to believe that he wont abandon the people.”

He went onto note :

Don’t put on a facade, if the leadership goes to Basil Rajapaksa, then god bless the people of this country…”
