Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is due to leave the country on a three-day official visit to New Zealand on Thursday.
Issuing a statement, the Prime Ministers office said that Professor Maithri Wickremesinghe will also accompany the Prime Minister. The statement further stated that this will be the first occasion on which a Sri Lankan Prime Minister would be holding bilateral discussions in New Zealand.
The official ceremony to welcome Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will be held at the Government House in Auckland on October 1, followed by bilateral talks.
