Minister of Law and Order, Sagala Ratnayake says that the IGP has been advised to install cameras at holding cells of all police stations in the country.

The minister made this statement at an event held in Jaffna on Sunday, Sepember 17.

He said that it is important to install CCTV cameras in the cell as this will be connected to the reserve which will allow the officers to keep a close watch on the detainees.
