Sri Lanka’s Amara Indumathi who competed in the finals of the Women’s T47 400m track event at the Rio Paralympics recorded a personal best in the event.
Amara Indumathi came in 5th with a personal best of one minute and 1.74 seconds.
China won gold while South Africa and Japan won Silver and Bronze respectively.
Anila Prasanna qualified to the finals of the men’s T42 100 metres track event after he clocked 12.85 seconds to finish 3rd in the heats.
Upul Indika who competed in the second heat of the men’s T42 100 metres recorded to personal best of 12.76 seconds to finish 4th.
