A public seminar on the Geneva Resolution, Federalism and Administration of the Country, organised by the Global Sri Lankan Forum, was held in Colombo on Monday.

Senior Attorney-at-Law, Gomin Dayasiri PC stated that the next set of voters are not Gunadasa Amarasekaras or the Gomin Dayasiris, it is the young people. The problems should be left for the next generation to solve.

Senior Journalist, Shamindra Ferdinando stated that the previous government hired expensive PR firms to defend the country, and the government paid 6.5 million USD between May and September 2014 but the total amount paid to foreign PR firms is much more.

He added that those who opposed to UN intervention must now pressure the Wickremesinghe – Sirisena Government to take up all available information to defend Sri Lanka’s image.
