Yoshitha’s grandmother Daisy Forest appears before Colombo Magistrate’s Court

Grandmother of Yoshitha Rajapaksa, Daisy Forest appeared before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court on Friday in connection with the investigations being carried out over a plot of land in the Mount Lavinia area.

The case that was taken up on Friday before Colombo Additional Magistrate, Augusta Atapattu, cites that even though Daisy Forest had been summoned to the Police FCID on a number of occasions, she had failed.

President’s Counsel Jayantha Weerasinghe, appearing on behalf of the defendant, stated that since his client is in a feeble state and that she would go to the Police FCID on the 31st of this month, and provide a statement.

Thereby, Daisy Forest was released on a personal bond.
