Google has confirmed that the users will not need a Google+ profile to post a review. It’s worth mentioning that the change may not be available to everyone just yet as it’s still rolling out.
This comes over an year after Google disconnected Google+ from YouTube. “People have told us that accessing all of their Google stuff with one account makes life a whole lot easier,” the company had said at that time. “But we’ve also heard that it doesn’t make sense for your Google+ profile to be your identity in all the other Google products you use.”
