The protest launched by thirty four Sri Lankans employed in the City of Satwa in Dubai has ended.

They began to stage the protest at the Bus Depot in the City of Satwa, and continued to do so for the past two months. The protest was being staged against the companies that employed them, for not paying them proper wages and providing them with adequate facilities.

The group of Sri Lankans were employed five months ago as cleaning staff. According to the group of protesters, they were employed for three months.

The protesters added that they are currently suffering without proper food and necessary facilities.Media Spokesperson of the Foreign Employment Bureau Upul Deshapriya said that he will be travelling to Dubai on Sunday to solve the issues of the group of Sri Lankans.
