Transport Ministry says problems of operators at railway crossings will be solved

The Ministry of Transport has said that steps will be taken within the coming two  weeks to solve the problems faced by railway operators at unprotected railway crossings.

Secretary Nihal Somaweera said that the committee in this regard is preparing a report with solutions for these issues.

The committee is comprised of the Commissioner General of Labour, the police, the treasury, the railway general manager and the Secretary of the Ministry of Transport.
