The Department of Examinations says that those who are involved in fraudulent activities during their Advanced Level Examination will be blacklisted.
Commissioner general of Exams W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara said that the penalty of a five-year ban on sitting for examinations will be strictly imposed against those who are in possession of devices not permitted within the examination hall.
About 40 fraudulent activities during the Advanced level examination have been reported thus far.The Commissioner general added that immediate action will be taken in this regard.
