Army Spokesperson Brigadier Jayanath Jayaweera said that the re-construction work on the roofs of buildings that were damaged by the explosion at the Salawa Army Camp are in its final stages.
The Army Spokesperson added that reconstruction work on roofs of 1032 houses were completed with the assistance of government and private institutions.
Army Spokesperson Brigadier Jayantha Jayaweera said that construction work on the houses and structures which were destroyed owing to the explosion will be carried out by the private sector under supervision of the government.
Meanwhile, the removal of rubble of destroyed buildings surrounding the Salawa Army camp will commence from Tuesday.
