Controlled prices have been announced for 16 consumer items.These prices will be gazetted by tonight.
Thereby, the controlled price for chicken with skin stands Rs.410, while skinless chicken will cost Rs.495 a kilogramme.
A kilogramme of red dhal will cost Rs. 169. A kilo of Thai sprats will cost Rs.495, while a kilogramme of Dubai sprats will cost Rs. 410. A kilogramme of chickpeas gram will be priced at Rs. 260 while green gram will be priced at Rs.220 per kilo.The cost of 480 gram canned fish will be Rs.140, while the 150 gram variant will cost Rs.70.
A kilogramme of white sugar will cost Rs.95 ,while a kilogramme of white flour will cost Rs.87 . Rs. 810 has been set as the controlled price for imported full cream milk powder while domestic full cream milk powder will cost Rs.735..
The cost of imported potatoes will be priced at Rs.120 per kg while a kilogramme of imported onions will cost Rs.78. A kilo of dry chillies will cost Rs.385.
The cost of Katta dry fish will be Rs.1100 per kilogramme while Salaya dried fish will be Rs.425 per kilo. Maldive fish will be sold at Rs. 1500 per kilogramme. Sustagen will be sold at a controlled price of Rs.1500.
