A luncheon organised by the American Chamber of Commerce titled Sri Lanka’s Readiness for TPP was held in Colombo on Thursday.
The discussion looked at the Impact of Trans Pacific Partnership or TPPs on Sri Lanka, and the readiness of the country to join TPP and other such mega regional trade agreements.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Nihal Pitigala a consultant of the USAID and the World Bank.
President of the American Chamber of Commerce Asanka Ratnayake and Secretary of AMCHAM Nimal Cooke were also present at the event.
