Investigations have begun into a fire that broke out in the Engineering Faculty of the Peradeniya University. The fire broke out at around 8.10 on the night on Sunday July 3, in the Department of Production.

Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Lakshman Wijepala says that the Government Analyst is expected to be brought into the investigation as well.
