The News1st Classroom programme, a workshop to enhance leadership and media literacy is taking place at the Dickwella Kumaratunga Maha Vidyalaya.

The 216 th News 1st class room programme commenced on Tuesday afternoon with the participation of students following the subject of mass media for their GCE Ordinary Level and Advanced Level examinations.

The main objective of the programme is to develop communication skills of these students with the use of modern technology, lectures and other practical activities.
