UPFA MP Udaya Gammanpila has been arrested by the Police Special Investigations Unit on anumber of charges, including the misuse of funds of an Australian businessman, and obtaining stocks in a fraudulent manner.

Gammanpila, who was arrested in Nugegoda is to be produced before the Colombo – Fort Magistrate’s Court.
