A seminar titled India – Sri Lanka Relations in the 21st Century was held in Colombo on Thursday.

The seminar organised by the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies, saw the participation of many distinguished individuals.The Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka ,Y.K Sinha was also present at the seminar.

Views were expressed on the issue of illegal fishing by Indian fishermen as well as the ban that was earlier imposed by the EU on Sri Lankan fish exports.

Meanwhile, attention was also drawn at the seminar towards Sri Lankan refugees in India.
