Venerable Dr. Godagama Mangala Thera has been appointed as the Chief Incumbent of the Dambulla Rajamaha Viharaya.

The Registrar of the Asgiriya Chapter Venerable Dr. Medagama Dhammananda Thera said that the decision was made unanimously during the Sangha Council meeting earlier Thursday evening.

Ven. Dr. Medagama Dhammananda Thera added that Venerable Inamaluwe Sumangala Thera will continue to function as the trustee of the Dambulla Rajamaha Viharaya.
