Trishaw communities have presented the Government with a proposal to increase the legal age limit at which an individual can purchase a three wheeler for the purpose of providing public transportation to 23.
Secretary of the All Island Three Wheel Owners Association (AITWOA), T.R.R Pallli said that this proposal was extended at a discussion that was held in collaboration with Officials of the National Council for Road Safety.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the All Island Three Wheel Drivers’ and Owners’ Association, Sudhil Jayaruk said that another proposal was presented pertaining to the the appointment of a Commission to implement regulations with regard to Three wheelers.
