Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayake says that Japan has allocated a large sum of money for development purposes in Sri Lanka. The Minister noted that Sri Lanka will receive this money in the form of aid and investments.
The Finance minister notes that this was officially conveyed to the Sri Lankan Government when President Maithripala Sirisena met with Japanese Premier Shinso Abe on Saturday (May 28th) on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Japan.
