President Maithripala Sirisena arrived this morning in Nagoya in Southern Japan .
The President was received at the airport by Japanese Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Yoji Muto , Governor of Aichi Prefecture, Hideaki Oomura, and Ambassador Dhammika Ganganath Dissanayake.
A traditional Sri Lankan welcome was accored to the President as the Hotel which is hosting the Sri Lankan President.
The President Sirisena is scheduled to meet Vietnamese Prime Minister Ngyuyn Xuan Phuc, Head of Japan External Trade Organization, Hiroyuki Ishige and Onomichi Dockyard President Takashi Nakabe this afternoon.
A communique issued by the Presidential Media Division says that bilateral talks aimed at obtaining a number of economic benefits to the country will be held on the side lines of the G7 summit.
