Anti-Corruption Summit 2016 that is being held in London is scheduled to begin at 2.30 p.m. Sri Lankan time.
President Maithripala Sirisena arrived at the Lancaster House a short while ago, where the summit is being held.
The summit, which is being chaired by British PM David Cameron will also see the participation of a number of key international leaders including US Secretary of State John Kerry.
According to the British government this is the first summit of its kind, bringing together world leaders, business and civil society to seek a global response to tackle corruption.
According to the Presidential Media Unit, President Sirisena is scheduled to create awareness on the steps taken by the new Sri Lankan government to curb corruption.
