The issue surrounding the supplementary estimate vote in Parliament was raised at several fora today.

MP Indika Anuruddaadde stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, the biggest deceitful act in the history was performed

The MP pointed out that the votes were 30 to 31.

“We being in the opposition, should have stood against the government “, he said. He added that there were 31 votes and till 9.30 in the night, and after going through the CCTV footage, and at the end, the General Secretary had to admit that the information he provided was a false

Leader of the House, Minister Lakshman Kiriella noted that money was requested to purchase vehicles for the Prime Minister because vehicles had to be purchased for the Prime Minister since the former president had “taken away all the vehicles.”

“There were three bullet-proof vehicles. All three of them were taken away”, charged the leader of the house.
