The Ceylon Electricity Board stated that an action plan has been put in place to implement the recommendations put forth by the Sub-Committee appointed by the Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy.
The Media Spokesperson of the Ceylon Electricity Board, Sulakshan Jayawardane noted that that 26 new proposals have been put forward by the sub-committees, spearheaded by the Minister of Power and Renewable energy, Ranjith Siyabalapitiya.
A few recommendations put forward include the modernisation of the system of the C.E.B and the proposal for a new management structure for the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant.
