Five new ambassadors and two high commissioners presented credentials to President Maithripala Sirisena at the President’s House in Colombo on Friday.

The new Ambassadors who presented credentials were Carlos Orlando, the Ambassador of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay; Parakhat H. Durdyev, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkmenistan; Gyula Petho, the Ambassador of the Hungary; Jozef Drofenik, the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia and Niankoro Yeah Samake, the Ambassador of the Republic of Mali

The new high commissioners who presented credentials were Jagdishwar Goburdhun the High Commissioner of Mauritius and Wan Zaidi Bin Wan Abdullah, the High Commissioner of Malaysia.
