Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe left for China on a three-day official visit on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 06.
The Prime Minister is undertaking this visit upon an invitation extended by the People’s Republic of China. During this visit, he will call on the President of China Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Li Keqiang and many other top tier officials.
The Prime Minister’s Office announced that several agreements on investments, economy, technology co-operation between the two nations will be reached as well.
Premier Wickremesinghe is accompanied by Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera, Ministers Nimal Siripala De Silva, Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Rauff Hakeem and Sajith Premadasa -as well several representatives from the Prime Minister’s Office.
