An MoU between the governments of India and Sri Lanka was signed on Thursday, March 31, to supply 150 fishing equipment to fishermen in Mullaitivu

The signing took place at the Ministry of Fisheries.

The Mou was signed between the Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, Mahinda Amaraweera and the High Commissioner of India , Y.K. Sinha,  representing the two nations

A supply of 150 fishing equipment will be given out to 300 beneficiaries which is costed at Rs.100 million.
