It probably won’t come as much of a surprise to anybody who’s played it, but The Witcher 3 won the big one at this year’s GDC Awards. Fresh off the back of picking up seven BAFTA nominations, The Witcher 3 won the Game of the Year award, as well as Best Technology.
Held in San Francisco, the Game Developer Conference Awards also honoured Her Story, Ori and the Blind Forest, Rocket League and Crypt of the NecroDancer. In fact, Her Story won the most awards overall, picking up the gong for Best Handheld/Mobile Game, Best Narrative and the Innovation Award
