PSG vs Chelsea (agg 4-2)


In their First clash against Chelsea, PSG managed to take the lead at home with Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s deflected free-kick.Edinson Cavani came off the bench to give Paris St-Germain the advantage after the end of the first leg of their Champions League last-16 match (2-1)

PSG managed to score early in their game away , against Chelsea when Rabiot scored during the 16 minute off of Ibramovich’s pass.

Diego Costa’s smart finish put Chelsea level on the night before half-time but ”Ibra manged to seal the win for the French team with a simple finish from Angel di Maria’s delivery seven minutes later (1-2).


Atletico Madrid vs PSV Eindhoven (agg 0-0; Atletico win on penalties)


PSV Eindhoven ened their firstgame against Atletico madrid in a draw in their 1st leg against the spanish team in the UEFA round of 16 (0-0)

In their second game at the Vicente Calderón Stadium, Atletico and PSV kept each other at bay and ended the game in draw forcing a penalty shoot out that ended on 8-7 for Atletico (0-0)
Benfica vs Zenit St Petersburg (agg 1-3)


Benifica managed to clinch the win when Brazillian striker,Jonas nodded in a Nicolas Gaitan free-kick to give the Portuguese champions a slender advantage during injury time (1-0)

Two-time European champions Benfica managed to reach the Champions League quarter-finals with win against Zenit St Petersburg after a thrilling 2nd leg between the two sides.

Hulk levelled the aggregate score when his head found the net during the second half but Benfica manged to pull off a come back late in to the game when Gaitan nodded in after the hosts’ keeper Yuri Lodygin had pushed a shot onto the bar.

Talisca scored another to end the night with a late drive. (1-2)


Manchester City vs Dynamo Kiev (agg 3-1)


Man City took on Dynamo Kiev in the round of 16 in Ukraine.Sergio Aguero slotted in the opener and was followed by a slick move that let David Silva side-foot in a second.

Vitaliy Buyalsky managed to hit the net off a deflection but Yaya Toure restored City’s 2 goal lead when he curled in a brilliant shot. (1-3)

Man.City ended their 2nd game against Dynamo Kiev on a draw but sealed themselves a place in the next round on aggregate (0-0)
Wolfsburg vs KAA Gents (agg 4-2)


Wolfsburg were in firm control when they led 3-0 lead after 60 minutes, when Draxler manged to see the back of the net consecutively during the 44th and 54th minute and Kruse scored during the 60th minute.

KAA Gents showed immense spirit when Kums and Coulibaly score between the 80th and the 89 the minute before the end of the 1st leg. (2-3)

Wolfsburg reached the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time after Andre Schurrle’s goal during the 74th minute (1-0)


Barcelona vs Arsenal (agg 5-1)


Arsenal had to take on LaLiga leaders Barcelona.

The game was goalless through to the second half but Lionel Messi opened the scoring with scored his first goal against keeper Petr Cech at the seventh attempt when he crowned a blistering counter-attack involving Suarez and Neymar to sweep home a finish after 71 minutes.

Barcelona managed to seal the win when Messi convereted a penalty after Matheiu Flamini (Arsenal) floored Messi with a mis-timed challenge (0-2)

Barcelona remained undeterred as they took on the Gunners in their second game.

Neymar opened the scoring at Nou Camp and was followed by a brilliant volley by Suarez.

Elneny’s stunning goal on 51 minutes – a precise strike from 18 yards and his first for the club – was Arsenal’s only reward while Messi clinched the final goal late in to the game. (3-1)


Real Madrid vs Roma (agg 4-0)


Ronaldo’s 33rd goal of the season gave Real the lead, when the Portugal forward struck in the 2nd half with a deflected finish. Roma had their chances, particularly on the counter, with Edin Dzeko hitting the side-netting.

Jese’s low drive saw the ball hit the back of the net during the 86th minute to seal the win for Real (0-2)

Real Managed to extend their lead when they took on Roma at the Beanabau. Ronaldo scored the opening goal during the second half when he found the net to clinch his 40th goal of the season.

The Portuguese striker then set up James Rodriguez for an angled finish to win the game (2-0)


BayernMunich vs Juventus (agg 6-4)


Last Years Runner-up had to take on Bayern Munich at home.

Bundesliga leaders managed to out do the Serie A counterparts during the 1st half when Muller found the back of the net and Robben curled in a second.

The Italian side fought back and manaeged to find the net in the 63rd minute when Paulo Dybala put one past the keeper and then the game eneded in a draw with Stefano Stuaro poking the ball in from close range (2-2)

With the tie poised at 2-2 after the first leg, Paul Pogba and Juan Cuadrado scored to put Juve in command.

The German leader looked to falter at home but game back fighting with header from Lewondowski and Thoams Muller got past the keeper during the 90th minute pushing the game in to extra time.

Bayern kept their cool and finished in style through Thiago and Kingsley Coman (4-2)
