Three flights which were scheduled to land at the Katunayake International Airport were diverted to the Mattala International Airport due to heavy misty conditions.

The Duty Manager at the Katunayake International Airport said that three flights  from Dubai, Doha and Beijing and were scheduled to land between 5 and 6 a.m. on Thursday morning.
